BCFresh is a 100% BC owned produce company, owned by 28 local growers, encompassing the sales, marketing, and distribution arm for more than 60 farming operations throughout BC, and is just one of the many companies who were on the receiving end of cybercrime in 2016. Despite the breach, BCFresh was able to secure their data and protect their organization with the help of their dedicated insurance broker, Andrew Janzen.
Since Murray Driediger came on board as President and CEO in 2007, risk reduction has been a primary focus for BCFresh:
